International Geosynthetics Society - North America
The Mission of IGS North America is to provide leadership in advancing geosynthetics education and research to attain their appropriate and widespread use as engineering materials as the Chapter of the International Geosynthetic Society (IGS) for the United States of America and Canada.
Among IGS North America's many activities is partnering with and organizing events. In 2023, we are proud to be an field partner to ATA's Geosynthetics Conference (February, Kansas City) and CGS's GeoSaskatoon 2023 (October, Saskatoon). In 2024, IGS-NA will host the 5th Pan-American Conference on Geosynthetics (GeoAmericas 2024) in Toronto, April 28 - May 1, 2024. Save the date! The Call for Abstracts will be issued in January 2023 and close in March 2023.
In 2026, IGS North America will host the 13th International Conference on Geosynthetics (13 ICG) in Montreal (September 2026).
